1. Against All Odds Tour-July 25th Rappers Meek Mill & Yo Gotta were scheduled to perform at the Municipal Auditorium on July 25th but their show is postponed. Their Against All Odds Tour features special guests YFN Lucci and Moneybagg Yo. For ticket information and future concerts at the Municipal Auditorium, visit Municipal Auditorium. 2. The Mall at Green Hills Summer Concert Series-July 25th It’s no secret that Nashville hosts some of the best summer concert series for music lovers to enjoy. The Mall at Green Hills have joined the fun by hosting its own free, live concert series all July. On July 25th, local bands will perform on the Upper Level of the Mall at Green Hills finalizing the July performances. This is a free event. For more information, visit Green Hills. 3. Way Late Play Date (21+)-July 27th Have you ever attended a play date for grown-ups? When I first saw this event, I knew I had to let my readers know about it. Trust, you guys do not want to miss this one. Way Late Play Date is July 27th at the Adventure Science Center. Get full details about this event at Adventure Science Center. 4. Frist Fridays-July 28th Just a reminder, First Friday is this week. Visit Frist Center for details. 5. 40th Anniversary Tour-July 28th Speaking of concerts, Foreigner will bring their 40th Anniversary Tour to Nashville. Visit the Ascend Amphitheater for ticket information and future concerts. 6. Nashville Zoo’s Red, White and Zoo-July 28th Don’t forget to purchase your tickets to Nashville Zoo’s Red, White and Zoo event on July 28th. For tickets, visit Nashville Zoo. July is an eventful month in Nashville. That’s why it is important to know what’s going on each week before making any weekend plans. To the music lovers reading this, you’re really going to enjoy this post! July 15: Music Industry Day The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) guarantees local music professionals will share the same space with some of Nashville’s top music executives at their highly anticipated Music Industry Day event. Not only will local talents share the same space with such powerful people but they can receive sound advice from them at performance-related sessions and professional workshops. So if you are an artist, songwriter, or musician, you need to secure your ticket to NAMM’s Music Industry Day event. Make your purchase now. July 17-23: 3rd Annual Burger Week 3 years and counting, get ready to taste some of Nashville’s best burgers. In case you’re not hip to the ins and outs of Burger Week let me explain. Nashville Scene’s Burger Week is when participating Nashville restaurants offer $5 specialty burgers for an entire week. Afterwards, Nashvillians get to vote on which burger they liked the most. The winning restaurant will attend World Food Championships, the largest Food Sport competition in the nation. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money is on the line. Let’s make sure the right restaurant gets to represent Nashville by getting out and tasting those burgers next week. American musician Don Felder and rock band REO Speedwagon will take the stage to give Nashville a night to remember.
