![]() What are some of the things you enjoy about the fall? As for me, I enjoy biking over crisp, autumn leaves during my evening rides through neighborhoods. The temperature is pleasant until late October, jump starting my wearing of cardigans and long, colorful socks. The occasional use of darkened rooms filled with the smell of brown sugar scented candles are welcomed in my space. After a long, studious day, I settle into my favorite cotton pajama pants and tank top, make cappuccino, and watch a movie. These are only a few things I feel most comfortable doing in the fall. Still, there are many other things to appreciate about the fall in Nashville. If you go downtown, you will be greeted by harvest decors in display windows of local shops. Frosted glass paneled offices reflect the combination of a sunset and golden street pavements. The blocks of Second Avenue North and Broadway are filled with live music from street talents intimately warming the atmosphere. People mince between streets, looking for the right venue. There’s a constant exchange of instructions to tourists from natives. You will witness people utilizing lamp lit alleys and brightly colored bridges to get from one place to another, pausing only for pedestrian signaling devices. Banners and flyers advertise upcoming seasonal events. Our city, literally, is operating in intervals of seasons. This particular season just happens to be fall. Not to mention, we have seasonal activities such as craft festivals, football games, haunted attractions, pumpkin patches, and more! So I ask again, what are some of the things you enjoy about the fall in Nashville? Feel free to share your enjoyments in a comment below!
