We've all been there, grew tired of the "Netflix and chill" vibes at home. Sometimes you just want to explore, be adventurous. Do something outside of your norm. Well if any of these things are striking a bell upstairs, keep reading. I'm sure I can find you something to get into this weekend. After all, Nashville doesn't have all of these nicknames for nothing.
If you're feeling artsy but want a little history...visit the Frist Art Museum. Paris 1900: City of Entertainment features iconic artwork from Pissarro and others and authentic creations from Parisian hat designers. Paris 1900: City of Entertainment transports onlookers to the City of Light during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This is a great family outing. Get more details about this exhibit and admissions at Frist Art Museum. Just an FYI for active college students, you could totally wait until Thursday or Friday evening to get free admission with you college ID! More art is on the way...the Jefferson Street Art Crawl is Saturday, Nov. 25, 2018. TheJefferson Street Art Crawl (JSAC) will feature a few of Nashville's most distinguished visual artists like XPayne (responsible for Slim & Husky's Nashville Gothic piece) and others. "Small Business Saturday" is the focus of JSAC's art crawl this month. Although this is a free event, there will be plenty of local vendors to support. So pack a few extra bucks just in case you see something you want. The Jefferson Street Art Crawl starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. For more information about the Jefferson Street Art Crawl, find them on Facebook. Did I mention you could rent bikes from Green Fleet during the crawl? These are the two things I've got for y'all this week. In all honesty, I may wait until next week to hit up the Frist Museum but I'll definitely swing by the art crawl. If you see me there, let's chat it up. I love running into my readers in the city! Thanks for the support, y'all. Be blessed! :)
