July 15: Music Industry Day The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) guarantees local music professionals will share the same space with some of Nashville’s top music executives at their highly anticipated Music Industry Day event. Not only will local talents share the same space with such powerful people but they can receive sound advice from them at performance-related sessions and professional workshops. So if you are an artist, songwriter, or musician, you need to secure your ticket to NAMM’s Music Industry Day event. Make your purchase now. July 17-23: 3rd Annual Burger Week 3 years and counting, get ready to taste some of Nashville’s best burgers. In case you’re not hip to the ins and outs of Burger Week let me explain. Nashville Scene’s Burger Week is when participating Nashville restaurants offer $5 specialty burgers for an entire week. Afterwards, Nashvillians get to vote on which burger they liked the most. The winning restaurant will attend World Food Championships, the largest Food Sport competition in the nation. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money is on the line. Let’s make sure the right restaurant gets to represent Nashville by getting out and tasting those burgers next week. American musician Don Felder and rock band REO Speedwagon will take the stage to give Nashville a night to remember.
