Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebrations

Join Nashville in celebrating Martin Luther King (MLK), Jr. at some of these events going down in the city. Peep the list below.

1. “Where Do You Stand In Times of Controversy” Morning Youth Rally at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church from 8am-10am.
2. The Annual March from the Jefferson Street Baptist Church to Tennessee State University's Gentry Center at 10am. For information on leads of the marchers, see MLK Day Lineup.
3. Belmont University will celebrate MLK Jr. until Friday, January 19th so visit their site for a breakdown of everything they are doing this week at MLK Week.
4. Vanderbilt University will have a host of events commemorating MLK Jr. so visit their site for a MLK Commemorative Series Schedule.
