“A Celebration of the Written Word!”-Nashville Public Library
Get ready for Nashville Public Library’s 27th Annual Southern Festival of Books! Many authors will be present for book signings. There will be children sessions in the Legislative Plaza. Children activity sessions include, but are not limited to, the “Nashville Zoo Presents Animal Tales” and “Appleblossom the Possum.” There will be musical talents, crafts and informational sessions available for all attendees. Author Talk on the Hill: Belle Blackburn
Trevecca Nazarene University has begun its Author Talk series! Although the first Author Talks was yesterday, there will be more! The first one featured Belle Blackburn, a graduate of the Trevecca Nazarene University. Her book, The Doctor’s Daughter: Journey to Justice, tracks Nashville during the Civil War. The Doctor’s Daughter: Journey to Justice was listed in the Tennessee Library Association’s recommended reads and was considered an Amazon Best Seller.
