Although the summer hasn't officially started, Nashville's weekend activities would suggest otherwise. There are many free outdoor activities to attend. Don't worry about trying to remember them all, because we've got you cover. You may find information about this week's events below. Have a blast by doing what you love with the ones you love!

​Food Truck Event (06/15/16)

If you will be in the West End area today, drop by Centennial Park to eat lunch. There will be food trucks present to offer you a sweet and savory experience. They will be out there until 2 pm.

YEP Mixer on the BMI Rooftop (06/15/16)

From 5 pm to 7 pm, Broadcast Music, (BMI) Inc. will throw a rooftop party for executives in the Music City and the general public. You must be 18 and over to get into the party. All 21 and up will receive wristbands to signify their legal ability to drink. This event will have free food and drinks.

Movies in the Park (06/16/16)

Elmington Park will show Pitch Perfect 2 at dark, This event starts at 5 pm. It is a great way to spend the night with family and friends. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at present food trucks and vendors. This marks Nashville Scene's 22nd Annual Movies in the Park. Enjoy the night out!

Movies at the Schermerhorn (06/17/16)

The Nashville Symphony will get in on the weekend fun, too! They will show the The Wizard of Oz at the Schermerhon while performing all of its musical numbers live. For ticket information, visit the Nashville Symphony. The show begins at 7:30 pm.

Nashville International Puppet Festival (06/18/16)

The Nashville International Puppet Festival will begin on the 17th and end on the 19th. There will be a Puppet Parade for all ages in downtown Nashville at 9 am. It will start at the War Memorial Plaza and end on 6th Avenue. Participants include select local and international production companies. For more information, visit the Nashville Public Library. This event is free!
